1.   Introduction :

You are a journalist for an online magazine. You are asked to design a brochure on batik in Malaysia.

2.   Task :

a)    Design a brochure using the resources both online and offline for 2 types of batik in Malaysia ( hand-drawn batik and block-printed batik ).

b)    Provide details of how hand-drawn batik and block-printed batik are made.

c)    Add in details on the types of clothes that the block-printed batik are made into.

3.   Resources :

4.   Process :

a)    Select a brochure template from Microsoft Publisher. Use online, books and non-print resources to find the information needed to complete the brochure.

b)    Complete the brochure with text and pictures.

c)    Use the Brochure evaluation tool to guide your brochure design and information.

d)    Present your brochure in an exhibition held during ‘Visit Malaysia Week’.
